Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Five years of clinical SLP experience with children and adolescents who have ASD or a query of ASD. Ability to work with families using a family centered perspective and practice. Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines in a diagnostic team, community service providers and partners. An understanding of DSM 5 diagnoses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of community resources for children and adolescents with ASD and/or speech and language delays/disorders. Registration with Speech-language and Audiology Canada (SAC). Experience as an SLP working with children, adolescents who may have complex developmental delays or disorders.
