Master's degree preparation in Nursing, Health Sciences, Social Work, Public Health or related health discipline. Active registration and practice permit with a respective Alberta Professional College. A demonstrated and clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years within the last 10 years' working in Indigenous Health, Cancer Prevention, Primary Care, Public Health, Sexual & Reproductive Health or Harm Reduction. A minimum of 3 years' within the last 5 years' in a leadership and/or management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, teaching and observational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Proven written, verbal and non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with members of an interdisciplinary and intersectoral health team. Demonstrated critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Excellent time management, prioritization and facilitation skills. Demonstrated ongoing responsibility for maintaining own continuing professional and practice competencies through professional development activities.
