Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current active registration in good standing with the Alberta College of social work (ACSW) required. 3-5 years prior experience in an acute or community mental health setting required. Experience in a Forensic mental health setting required. Experience providing therapy and psychosocial interventions required. Experience providing Sexual Offender treatment in an inpatient or community setting required. Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting required. Must have authorization to perform restricted activities. Solid interpersonal communication skills, interviewing techniques and writing skills required. Formal training in CBT, DBT, Group Psychotherapy, Family therapy &/or other endorsed forms of therapy is required. In-depth knowledge of mental health / mental illness required.

Preferred Qualifications:

NVCI an asset. Current CPR an asset. Current working knowledge of sexual offender risk assessment tools an asset. ATSA certification preferred.
