Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Authorized to perform Psychosocial Intervention required. Clinical experience in child & adolescent mental health required with a minimum of 3-5 years’ post-graduate experience required in Child and Adolescent Community and/or Multidisciplinary and/or Acute Care settings. Current knowledge and experience using of a range of clinical modalities including individual, family & group intervention with advanced clinical skills in family therapy is required. Working knowledge of DSM V required. Knowledge of community resources required. Ability to facilitate referrals and connect families to appropriate resources required. Experience working with children/adolescents with ADHD, Neurodevelopmental concerns and related behavioural, cognitive and social issues required. Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and system navigation and case management required. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting required. Strong assessment, formulation, diagnosis and treatment skills required. Effective case management skills required. Demonstrated commitment to Family and Client Centered Care required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills required. Must have a calm, warm and engaging style.

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 1&2 training in Collaborative Problem Solving preferred. Training in the CONNECT group or Attachment framework preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners preferred. Trauma-informed training preferred. Experience in program planning, evaluation and/or research preferred. Proven ability to work independently and meet necessary deadlines. Proven ability to be flexible and manage change.
