Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Competency in Social Work supervision. Work experience in an acute setting. Experience equivalencies with crisis management and hospital work will be considered. Relevant work experience providing advanced psychosocial interventions. Competency in appropriate use of the SW role regarding the Mental Health Act and Decision-Making. Competency in appropriately applying Social Work approaches, theories, and SW Core Clinical Activities in diverse clinical settings. Demonstrated ability in leading teams, providing oversight, teaching, and the ability to facilitate practice growth in others. Advanced experience navigating complex and sensitive issues across a range of settings while being aligned with SW ethics and standards. Extensive experience succeeding at collaborative practice and delivery of interdisciplinary care. High degree of professional integrity, resourcefulness, and independent judgement. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
