Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three years’ Social Work experience in Adult Urban Acute Care. One year experience in Social Work in an adult urban acute care Emergency Department.
Preferred Qualifications:One year+ previous experience in Social Work in an adult urban acute care emergency department. Experience with crisis intervention, and grief/loss support. Experience with community resources and referral. Experience with discharge planning. Experience with Children’s Services. Experience working with homelessness, addictions, and mental health. Familiarity with Advance Care planning, Financial Benefits programs and housing resources.
