Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrates excellent assessment, organizational and client care skills. Ability to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner. Must be able to lead group therapy, and work closely with the interprofessional team. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required. Must be able to identify own learning needs and seek guidance in professional practice where knowledge deficits occur. May provide program planning, development, and evaluation. May provide input into policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute care setting. Preferred specialized training in evaluation/counseling of the bariatric clients.
