Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health experience, preferably in a community setting. Must have a strong knowledge of community resources and provincial legislation such as Mental Health Act and Community Treatment orders. Must have current BCLS-HCP certification and non-violent crises intervention. Possession of a valid driver’s license and a vehicle in good working order for work-related travel is required. Conflict resolution and strong communication skills are required. Must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills is required. Ability to ambulate, climb stairs, and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of acute care social work experience is preferred.
