Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional required qualifications include experience working with pediatric populations and supporting children and families with diverse medical, developmental, and social needs. Candidates must have a strong grounding in ethics and ethical decision making within pediatric and family centered practice, as well as experience working closely with caregivers navigating complex systems. A comprehensive understanding of government systems that support children and families, such as Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD), Child and Family Services (CFS), and Alberta Education. Candidates must also demonstrate strong knowledge of local and provincial programs and services relevant to the children served in our programs, including Program Unit Funding (PUF), the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), and Jordan’s Principle. Familiarity with a wide range of community services, supports, and funding pathways is required to ensure families are connected to appropriate resources.
