Your Opportunity:
Addiction & Mental Health Supported Housing (AMH Supported Housing) is a fast paced and growing area within the AMH portfolio. We currently partner with several agencies in the Edmonton zone to provide a broad range of clinical services to the clients who reside in both our transitional and long-term housing sites. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborative intake and the provision of clinical addiction and mental health support and treatment planning. Essential to the skillset of this position will be a comprehensive awareness of housing resources and an understanding of personal and systemic housing barriers. This position requires skill in AMH competencies such as risk assessment, mental health status assessment, and biopsychosocial assessment. This is a fast-paced role that will require the ability to manage competing priorities. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current Basic Life Support certification. Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
