Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Experience working in a community based pediatric rehabilitation setting. Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with members of the multidisciplinary team including families. Self-direction, independent problem solving and decision-making, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic, fast paced, multidisciplinary environment. Actively integrate patient and family centered care principles in all areas of practice including clinical decision-making and effective communication. Create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety. Practice according to clinical practice standards. 2-5 years' experience working with a pediatric population and children with complex needs.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience supervising students. Experience in a pediatric community setting Experience in Program Development. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
