Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience. This position requires a high degree of independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, an ability to prioritize workload. Knowledge and ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams is highly recommended. Previous experience working in the health care system is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Experience working within an interdisciplinary team is preferred. Knowledge of relevant legislative Acts and experience with guardianship, trusteeship, personal directives and capacity assessment processes is an asset. In-depth knowledge and experience in working with Income Support programs at a community/provincial/federal level (AISH, Alberta Works, CPP, OAS, ASB) is preferred. Completion of provisional registration requirements preferred.
