Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Greater than 1 year Experience in an inpatient adult acute care setting is required. Demonstration of strong critical thinking and problem solving is required. Experience working successfully in a collaborative interdisciplinary team setting is required. The candidate will have proven communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with the health care team members, patients and their families in a fast-paced environment. Strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with capacity assessment processes, financial assessments and complex placement processes is an asset. The ability to work with various computer programs is an asset.
