Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Indigenous training and cultural awareness completed. Current experience in an acute care pediatric tertiary hospital setting. Grief and loss therapy and experience. Must be highly skilled in adjustment disorder counselling and crisis management interventions. Ability to work within community systems and to identify resources for best long-term impact and outcomes. Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize. Strong advocacy skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current experience in Pediatric inpatient, ambulatory, critical care and emergency. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills and asset. Second language also an asset.
