Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Authorization to Perform Restricted Psychosocial Interventions with the ACSW. Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). 3-5 years adult mental health experience within the past 5 years. Experience working with individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness. Knowledge of the ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) model. Knowledge of the Care Continuum of Addiction and Mental Health Services in the Calgary Zone. Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation especially related to CTO's. Knowledge of and ability to provide Mental Health Recovery Focused Care. Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Experience working in partnership with non-AHS and non-profit community agencies. Knowledge of Housing Resources in Calgary Zone. Self-motivated with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated responsible decision-making through the application of knowledge, critical thinking and sound legal and ethical judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in demanding and dynamic conditions. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Addiction and Mental Health case management experience. Experience working in community mental health outreach. Group therapy experience.
