Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of various financial/medication coverage resources such as disability benefits, EI, AISH, etc. Able to function as a consultant and educator. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Connect Care. Knowledge and understanding of Adult Learning Principles and Motivational Interviewing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Social Work preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and practice in a patient/family centered environment. Effective clinical reasoning/problem solving skills, analytical thinking and conflict resolution. Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, leadership, and organizational skills.
