Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:2 to 3 years’ experience in community Mental Health settings particularly with regards to housing assessment intake and support. Current CPR (BLS Level C – Health Care Provider) is required. A working knowledge of recovery based practice and theory is recommended. You should be flexible, innovative, observant and enthusiastic, with good communication and self-management skills in an interdisciplinary team environment. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment record and references.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in community capacity building, placement and community development specific to this population and working with multiple stakeholders is an asset.
