Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have minimum 3- 5 years previous experience working with people who have been prescribed different forms of opioid replacement therapy for addiction. Must have experience working with vulnerable populations including those with living with addictions and mental health concerns. Must be able to work independently with occasional review, having the consultation support of a Manager or Supervisor. Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and system navigation and case management required. Knowledge of counselling modalities to work with people accessing care who want support in their recovery Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting required. Effective case management skills required. Commitment to Family and Client Centered Care required. Knowledge of and ability to apply the principles of trauma informed care in all interactions with clients. Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills required. Demonstrated knowledge of community and the ability to collaborate with community partners required. Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting required. NVCI or immediate registration into next available course required. Suicide Prevention training.

Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Calm, warm and engaging style with the ability to engage various populations.
