Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current BCLS-HCP certification required A Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) is required. Registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers A valid driver’s license and vehicle for work related travel is required. Minimum 2 years social work experience in a health care setting Basic Computer Skills required Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in community work /Excellent communication skills, written and verbal/Considerable initiative and judgement and the ability to work independently in community settings is essential/ Knowledge of and experience with guardianship, trusteeship and capacity assessment processes is an asset/In-depth knowledge and experience in working with Income Security programs at community/provincial/federal levels (Alberta Works/AISH/CPP).
