Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a recognized college/University 2 year Social Work Diploma program is required. Registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers is required. Minimum 2 years’ experience working within the Edmonton area inner city community required. Experience accessing and liaising with Edmonton housing programs is required. Experience working with marginalized populations is required. Experience working successfully in a collaborative interdisciplinary team setting is required. Experience with program development and a strong working relationship with community partners is an asset. Experience working in a health care environment is an asset. Demonstration of strong critical thinking and problem solving is required - The candidate will have proven communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with the health care team members, patients and their families in a fast paced environment. Strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills are necessary. The ability to work with various computer programs is an asset.
