Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelor degree in healthcare profession, healthcare management or related field. A minimum of 4 years in a management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Progressive leadership experience in a healthcare environment, including experience in a management role in health service operations. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare experience is an asset. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
