Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing – BN, BScN or equivalent. Active, or eligible for, registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years nursing experience in a complex, acute care hospital setting. Minimum 3 years leadership experience. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio); typing proficiency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational, judgment and decision-making skills. Exceptional leadership abilities – including ability to develop and maintain personal relationships, effective conflict management and team building skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload and work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

Masters prepared or in process – in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, Leadership or Business. Proficiency in Connect Care, ePeople and RMS.
