Required Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in a health sciences discipline with a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience. Current registration with an appropriate professional body (e.g. CARTA, CARNA, etc.). Training: Some formal training in simulation education. Some training in the design and delivery of adult education. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience with simulation education. Experience in the provision of clinical education. Some recent clinical experience. Competencies: A team player with strong communication, relational, coaching, and organizational/program evaluation skills. Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Has the ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Should have progressive leadership, team building, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills and abilities. Client or customer management skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be willing to travel throughout the North zone as needed. Must be physically able to lift and move simulators and associated equipment (> 50Lbs).


Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Graduate degree in a healthcare discipline. Training: Certification in simulation training/education (i.e., CHSE). Experience: Experience with research/publications, quality improvement/safety projects, and ongoing active clinical work. Competencies: Understanding of simulation challenges (clinical, operational, technological). Knowledge of principles/theories of adult education, simulation modalities, clinical applications, and project management processes/tools.
