Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Painter or Signwriter Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Additional Required Qualifications:Journeyman Painters Certificate in the Province of Alberta or equivalent Certificate. Minimum 5 years Painting Experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Healthcare setting. Experience with epoxy coatings. Minimum 3 years of sign writing experience (Printing, reprographics, laser cutting, graphic design). Stong Computer skills. Knowledge of Building Systems such as Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Architectural systems, Carpentry, Electronics or Electrical systems is required. Lifting up to 23Kg (50lbs) is required with this role. Working on roofs, lifts outdoors, indoors and responding to seasonal requirements is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with computer generated sign making. Certificate or Diploma in Graphic Design would be considered an asset. Valid First aid would be an asset. Valid Fit testing certificate would be an asset. Valid Fall arrest and aerial platform training would be an asset.
