Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 40lbs several times a day. High Degree of motivation and good organizational skill required. Motivated team player with experience in a fast-paced environment. Upon successful completion of the 5 shifts training, the service worker will be able to proceed to unit to start ten buddy shifts as assigned by the hiring manager. Must meet weekly milestone to pass to the following week.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous training or recent Service Worker experience in a hospital setting is desirable. Familiarity with Fresenius hemodialysis equipment and supplies is an asset. Demonstrated good communication skills, able to read, write and speak English fluently. Demonstrated ability to work as a team, worker under supervision or independently. Current Service Worker in Alberta Kidney Care preferred. Dialysis training preferred.
