Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

As a Service Worker I , you will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with intensive or specialized cleaning within a hospital or facility specifically around toys. Ability to work in a team environment in order to provide the best support to patients and families while they are receiving treatment at ACH. General knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods required. Good interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Knowledge and operation of a computer including Microsoft Office. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift. Physically capable to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs of force. Successful completion of a basic housekeeping program is an asset. Ability to stand for long periods, walking, bending, and to use commercial cleaning equipment if available.
