Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current CPR (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 40lb several times a day. Demonstrated good communication skills, able to read, write and speak English fluently. Demonstrated ability to work as a team, work under supervision or independently. High degree of motivation and good organizational skill required. Upon successful completion of the 5 day orientation, provided in Red Deer or Edmonton, the service worker will be able to proceed to unit to start the buddy shifts as assigned by the hiring manager. Please note: This position is located in Red Deer, Alberta

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous training or recent Service Worker experience in a hospital setting is desirable. Familiarity with hemodialysis equipment and supplies an asset.
