A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management or related field. A minimum of 5 years in a management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. (Healthcare experience is an asset) A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Progressive leadership skills in a healthcare environment, including experience in a management role in Seniors Health operations. Effective communicator, strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills – decision making, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for diverse and complex issues. Proven ability to manage human, financial and physical resources efficiently and effectively with an operational budget. Proven ability to foster partnerships and achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
