Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Lead - Connect Care Central Zone, the Implementation Lead will support the coordination and implementation of Connect Care in Central Zone. The Implementation Lead - Connect Care is a senior professional role that combines advanced clinical skill and knowledge with project management skills. The Implementation Lead provides advanced expertise within their clinical scope as well as expertise pertaining to leading multi-disciplinary teams and collaborative patient care.

Description:

As an Implementation Lead - Connect Care, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals to plan, manage and implement various Connect Care readiness initiatives. This role requires an individual with clinical knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills as well as project manager skills. The Implementation Lead will be responsible for leading implementation initiatives within a geographical area working closely with the project team, clinical leaders and front line managers and staff to ensure operational readiness for go-live. The Implementation Lead monitors project progress against standards, timelines, and plans; actively identifying and resolving issues affecting timely completion including a point of escalation for related issues. The Implementation Lead manages many competing priorities within the project as a whole and must be nimble to quickly identify the issues that require immediate attention and resolution.

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in a related health care discipline. Membership in good standing with appropriate professional organization (i.e. CARNA, ACP). Minimum 5 years of management/leadership experience in a large and complex healthcare organization with evidence of progressively more responsible roles in clinical areas or a minimum 5 years project management experience in a healthcare environment. Strong working knowledge of AHS, in particular Central Zone. Evidence of progressive leadership experience, particularly experience leading system change. Knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies. Knowledge of PMO tools and project governance concepts demonstrating knowledge and experience of implementing these tools and concepts with stakeholders. Proven experience in managing teams, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to maintain positive relationships as well be self-directed and effective in team environments. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Basic knowledge of systems principles, as well as theories and concepts of the healthcare business. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with highly complex internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication and follow-up skills. Actively and positively negotiate solutions in areas of conflict. Detail oriented and probes for information to fully understand clinical issues, able to understand micro and macro points of view to create collaborative solutions. Experience mentoring and supporting staff. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Self-motivated and self-directed, requires little supervision.
