Required Qualifications:

A graduate degree in health care management, business administration or a related health care field. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in an operational/strategic leadership role in clinical services or healthcare operations within a public healthcare system of significant size and complexity, including at least five (5) years’ experience in a senior management role. Experience leading in the continuing care sector within the last three years.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful record of achievement as a leader, including experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams and diverse range of functions. A strategic thinker, you take into account long-term goals, assessing options and implications, and have a successful record of developing and implementing strategic and operational plans. An effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client-focused orientation, and commitment to providing long-term quality services, you have demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including having lead accountability for communicating with health ministries, media, and the public. An authentic and inspiring leader, you have demonstrated capability in leading self, engaging others, developing coalitions, achieving results and bringing about transformational change at a systems level. You display a collaborative leadership style and have the ability to foster a climate of co-operation amongst, and build solid relationships with, your own team, community leaders, public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners.
