A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related is required for this role. The successful candidate possesses ten (10) years of progressive contracting experience with a minimum of five (5) years in a senior management role of an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A combination of education and experience may be considered. The incumbent demonstrates a strong and varied background in leading complex negotiations, as well as a strong understanding of financial management. This position requires an effective communicator with a proven ability to work with varied groups of stakeholders (i.e., private industry leaders, organizational Executives/Board of Directors, local and/or provincial governmental representatives). Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching/teaching/mentoring, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure are required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related is preferred. Certification in a procurement or finance-related field would be ideal. There is significant preference for experience working in the health industry (public and/or private), including holding a position which carries decision-making or legally binding authority. Strong writing and presentation skills, including brevity and communicating complex matters in short and/or concise manners are preferred.
