Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a health related discipline and appropriate licenses and designation. Minimum of 5 years in a health care practice setting and minimum of 2 years in a formal leadership role in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. The incumbent will demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. Demonstrated and enhanced communication skills and abilities.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Has organizational knowledge to guide clinical leaders and inform decision making in response to OBP recommendations. Comprehensive knowledge of AHS and organizational processes, reporting systems, and clinical operations recommended. Understand how multiple strategies and initiatives fit into complex programs and services at the provincial, site, and zone level and across governmental ministries. Tactical and operational thinking with careful consideration given to short, mid and long-term goals while assessing process options and organizational, team, quality of care implications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a Master’s Degree in a health or business related discipline.
