Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with a regulated body. A minimum of a bachelors degree in a health-related field and/or a Senior Practice Consultantship Stream or equivalent experience in Seniors Health related work.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 to 10 years of health care experience. A minimum of 5 years work in Seniors Health (home and community care, CCH Type A, CCH Type B, palliative care). Connect Care, and RAI-HC trained. Case Management experience. Competent and comfortable with MS office suite and virtual meeting venues (Teams, Zoom etc.). Evidence of education development or continuous learning. Previous experience with providing adult education. Previous experience with resource development. Previous experience with program or education development. Quality and accountability expertise. Previous formal leadership experience (portfolio, project, or team). Previous experience with Client Directed Care programs (e.g., Self Managed Care, Client Directed Care).

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced education (e.g., master’s degree) or certification in an appropriate clinical specialty (e.g., Canadian Nurses Association certification in Community Health, Gerontology, NSWOC and/or Hospice Palliative Care) or similar. PIECES and/or Supportive Pathways Training.
