A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related area. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources in a unionized environment. Proven ability to interpret legislation/collective agreements/policy/arbitration decisions, and use same to inform practical recommendations suited to the circumstances.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Developed coaching skills, and ability to translate body of knowledge, methodologies, and processes for client’s quick understanding and use. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPHR designation is an asset. 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources in a unionized environment preferred. Focused Labour Relations experience preferred. Experience in an organization of significant size and complexity preferred. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Experience in developing and delivering education and training is an asset.
