A minimum of graduate preparation at Masters or PhD trained in Economics, statistics, mathematics with a strong focus on health economics and econometrics, or related area with a strong quantitative statistical background is essential. Previous experience of a minimum of five years in applied research, health technology assessment or developing health economic models; developing policy advice, leading consultations and project planning and management in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Specific knowledge in: Economic evaluation – cost effectiveness, benefit, utility, realization, value analysis, reassessment and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) as a structured decision-making process that offers greater flexibility to incorporate multiple objectives than cost-effectiveness analysis or benefit–cost analysis; Analysis of treatment effects; Epidemiology; Innovation; Benefits realization; Incentives and disincentives in public health care delivery; Analytics for product development and commercialization; Forensic cost analysis; Business strategy and development; Economic impact analysis of health care policies and regulations; Program evaluation; Health policy assessment; Simulation models They will have experience in research, data analysis and/or interpretation, evaluation and health technology assessment and appraisal methodologies, modelling and projections, and developing effective reports; Experience as a team member in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation; Understanding of physical and human resource management principles, concepts and financial impact; Knowledge and skills in problem solving and concerns resolution; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders ; and Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services
