Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field or Business Administration. Understanding/knowledge of staff scheduling environment. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Alberta Health Services as an organization. Minimum 5 years progressive responsibility and leadership experience, preferably in health management, large scale project delivery and change management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-directed and displays excellent judgement/decision-making. Strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills. Ability to interact with staff and leadership from various levels. Demonstrates a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Well, respected by peers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prosci Certification. AIW – AHS Improvement Way – Courses/Certification. Project Management Certification (PMP/CPM). Understanding/knowledge of staff scheduling environment. Demonstrated experience interacting with various level of leadership within AHS (Executive Director/Senior Operating Officer).
