Your Opportunity:
RAAPID is a Provincial Program who facilitates and coordinates consultation requests and patient movement throughout the Province. The demand on RAAPID to assist with and participate in a vast array of patient flow initiates is tremendous. The Senior Consultant role at RAAPID is a new position that will provide subject matter expertise in new and existing ventures, as well as assist in evaluating current work to ensure efficient and effective service delivery is maintained.
Description:
The Senior Consultant provides a key leadership role within the RAAPID Provincial program and reports directly to the Provincial Director of RAAPID. This position is responsible and accountable for providing leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of new or existing RAAPID processes, initiatives and future business areas. This will be accomplished by: Providing expert advice and consultation to internal and external medical leaders and operational leaders. Contributing to the enhancement of RAAPID processes to ensure internal RAAPID staff and RAAPID customers benefit. Developing and implementing processes to support efficient and safe patient flow.

Baccalaureate Degree in a Healthcare Field required; Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
5 years of RAAPID experience. Knowledge of all aspects of RAAPID business. Training in change management and process improvement principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. Ability to conduct data analysis using Excel. Skilled in the use of Genesys (contact center software) and Connect Care Transfer Center module.
Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled in adult learning principles. Experience with policy and procedure development. Knowledge of Alberta Health Care system resources, geography and facilities.
