A minimum of a university degree with 3-5 years’ experience in a health care leadership role. Experience in health services operation management. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility in area of expertise in a related environment. Expertise in own discipline. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in planning and implementation in a healthcare organization. Demonstrated leadership experience preferably in a health care or related environment. Education or demonstrated abilities in change management, quality improvement practices and methodologies. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in project management and change management. Facilitation and/or coordination experience in project planning: execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Evidence of ability to foster a culture of change acceptance, adoption and advocacy. Ability to search out and evaluate best evidence required. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team as a contributing member. Requires exceptional verbal, written and listening skills to comprehend, create and communicate concepts and options. Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge.
