Minimum 5 years’ experience working with the following: Health Information Systems Laboratory Information System support Project Management Experience 5 years current Transfusion Medicine experience or equivalent
Additional Required Qualifications:
Critical thinking. Advanced analysis and problem solving skills. Ability to motivate project teams to reach goals. Specialized depth in business process analysis. Knowledge of AHS clinical applications and their interrelationships. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively explain difficult technical solutions to non-technical resources. Training of new resources and/or resources from other teams that need an understanding of the LIS. Ability to influence senior stakeholders, to include management, clinicians, physicians, and co-workers. Ability to set up realistic personal and team deadlines, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes in priority. Ability to develop advance technical and/or process documentation as required. Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
HL7 knowledge an asset. Experience with ITIL processes and change management processes preferred.
