Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferred, with a strong quantitative component in a related field (e.g. health information management, health economics or epidemiology, statistics etc.) or several years of equivalent experience or clear demonstration of expert knowledge of key technical tools and concepts. 3-5 years’ experience in working with complex datasets, including spreadsheet, databases and tools for querying, integrating, analyzing, interpreting, reporting, and disseminating data. Experience using EMR systems and health information databases required as well as knowledge of clinical areas such as chronic diseases and clinical practice guidelines an asset. Demonstrated knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access). Demonstrated experience with basic programming concepts (SQL). Demonstrated experience with statistics and quantitative data analysis. Good understanding of quality improvement, change management and project management.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Valid drivers’ license required for travel to physician clinics within South Zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

Health Information Management certification an asset. Experience working with qualitative and survey datasets an asset.
