Required Qualifications:

Minimum required Bachelor’s degree with a strong quantitative focus (e.g., health economics, mathematics, statistics, operations engineering, health sciences, epidemiology, etc.). Master’s degree preferred. Minimum Five (5) years progressive experience in data, analytics, reporting, program evaluation or similar. Excellent analytical skills, problem solving ability and attention to detail. Able to create new datasets and information by aggregating, manipulating and linking data from EMS and other health system datasets. Able to create descriptive statistics with higher-order or compound measures. Education and demonstrated skill in data query and report building using various tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Oracle, Tableau). Demonstrated skills using analytical or statistical software such as SPSS. Education and demonstrated skills in developing and using database software and the ability to apply skills and knowledge to new database environments (for example, be able to learn to work with SQL if used to Oracle).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of computer systems, web-based environments and the entire MS Office suite. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. Basic knowledge of EMS operations and associated Dispatch and Patient Care data. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Proven ability to work and make decisions independently. Able to deal with time pressures, uncertainty, shifting priorities and complex work assignments. A pattern of professional development is expected. Equivalencies of education and experience would be considered.
