Post-Secondary Degree in a related field and 2 years' experience in a role directly related to inclusive hiring (Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered). Experience as a recruiter, preferably in a unionized and/or large organization. Experience developing and executing programs or projects with multiple partners. Experience in facilitating workshops, training or presentations. Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Understands the politically sensitive nature of working with multiple culturally diverse individuals and groups. Previous experience working with systemically marginalized communities. A keen understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action as they relate to health and employment outcomes. A depth of knowledge in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion concepts. Ability to connect programs and partnerships to organizational strategies. Ability to provide a high degree of cultural safety as it relates to working with Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community, and Canadian newcomers. A high degree of critical thinking in order to execute and develop innovative and culturally appropriate approaches to attracting diverse talent to AHS. Proven ability to foster partnerships, establish and maintain strong working relationships with leadership and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred. Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR), CCIP, CPHR or related HR designation. Fluency with utilizing complex data to support strategic plans.
