Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high volume fast-paced hospitality environment. Minimum Post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management/Business or Red Seal Chef certification. Strong business acumen.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Proven ability to manage human, financial and physical resources in order to meet organizational goals. Proven track record of buying, pricing, menu development, and inventory management. Must possess proficient verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to implement change and handle competing priorities without close supervision. A strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate and above proficiency with computer applications such as e-mail, Word, Excel, Adobe. Experience working in a non-traditional food service and/or unionized environment. Food Safe Certification and WHMIS training. Have a passion for food and excellent customer service. Familiar with use of Rationale ovens, steam tables and other commercial food service equipment.
