Active or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Successful completion of the CBRC examination or recognized equivalent. Registration with the College & Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta. Minimum 5 years of acute care experience obtained within the last 7 years as a Respiratory Therapist. Demonstrated leadership experience in planning, leading change and evaluation. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge and engagement in the discipline related to best and leading practices, governance, legislation, ethics, current issues and trends. Demonstrated ability to guide and lead teams, build partnerships and foster effective relationships. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and address or resolve complex issues and practice concerns. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change within a complex health care environment.
