Active or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy Program. Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). A minimum of 5 (five) years of Critical Care experience within the last seven (7) years. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications:2 (two) years of experience in a community care setting. Previous supervisory or mentorship experience. Completion of a baccalaureate degree in health sciences or related field. Completion of a Prosci change management certification. Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) or current enrollment in required courses (such as: COPD educator, Asthma educator, Chronic Disease Management). Certified Tobacco Educator (CTE) or current enrollment in required courses.
