Your Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and collaborative Community Respiratory Therapy team that plays a vital role in supporting respiratory and cardiac health across rural communities in the southwest corridor of Alberta. In this position, you will work directly with clients to provide high-quality respiratory care, including cardiac and respiratory diagnostic testing, disease process education, and arterial blood gas testing to support home oxygen funding. Based at the Melcor Centre in Lethbridge, this role supports respiratory and cardiac care services in the rural communities of Cardston, Fort Macleod, and Raymond. This unique opportunity allows you to build strong relationships within rural communities while delivering high-quality care across a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong time management and workload prioritization skills, with the ability to balance responsibilities across multiple clinical settings. Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize care and adapt to diverse clinical situations. Success in this role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively support clients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build positive relationships within the communities served. As an established and well-integrated position, you will benefit from the support of an experienced community therapy team, a professional practice lead, and a committed manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory therapist who values autonomy, variety, professional growth, and meaningful engagement with clients and communities.
