Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a registered Respiratory Therapist, demonstrating competence across a range of clinical environments. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification. Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment in both community and rural settings. Ability and willingness to travel between assigned rural sites as part of regular duties. Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize care and adapt to diverse clinical situations.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in community respiratory care. Strong time management and workload prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) Designation. ABG certification, and experience with spirometry testing and AADL home oxygen funding criteria. Relevant bachelor's or master's degree is an asset.
