Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Qualifications:Graduation from a recognized program in Respiratory Therapy. Previous anesthesia experience is required, lacking that, experience in Respiratory Therapy would be considered. Current BLS certification. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and budgetary information.
Preferred Qualifications:This position involves an advanced level of technical skill and knowledge. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills and work well both independently and in a team. In emergency situations, it could be life-threatening to the patient if the incumbent failed to perform these duties to high standards. Post-graduate training in Anesthesia is an asset.
