Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy required. Current BCLS-HCP certification, NRP required. ACLS. Demonstrated evidence-based skill in mechanical ventilation. Demonstrated ability to work under finite timelines and handle competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and foster partnerships. Demonstrated leadership and role modeling. Demonstrated clear and effective communication skill in critical situations, as well as in writing. Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required. Minimum 10 years current Critical Care experience required. Experience with Connect Care. Experience in computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, e-Critical, Connect Care, Netcare) is desired.
