THIS LINE IS CURRENTLY ONLY NIGHT SHIFTS. Come and join our team at the Sturgeon Community Hospital! As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will be a pivotal member of the interprofessional team and works collaboratively with all disciplines. In this role, you will assess patients, develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for direct patient care, and for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments. Description:

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 6 months of adult critical care or emergency experience within the last three (3) years.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous Arterial Line insertion certification. Intubation Certification. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Current Neonatal Resuscitation Course (NRP). Experience working with abdominal and pleurex drains.
